About techtrick
techtrick is a small, independent website that makes free text style tools. You type a few words, pick a look, and copy the result into Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok or anywhere else that takes text. That is the whole idea, and we try to keep every page as simple as it sounds.
There is nothing to download, no account to create and no price at the end. If a tool is on this site, you can use it.
What You Will Find Here
Everything on the site is a text generator, and each one has its own page with a tool on top and a plain-language guide underneath.
- Font Generator: the all-round tool, with a wide mix of styles in one place.
- Cursive Font Generator: flowing script letters for names, greetings and captions.
- Tattoo Font Generator: a way to preview lettering ideas for names, words and dates before you meet an artist.
- Instagram Font Generator: styles for your bio, display name and captions, with the character limits in view.
- Italic Font Generator: slanted letters for the places that have no italic button.
- Heart Font Generator: hearts around, between and after your words.
- Chicano Font Generator: Old English and script lettering for names, words and dates.
How the Tools Work
The letters you copy are not fonts. They are Unicode characters, part of the same standard that lets your phone show every language and emoji. Unicode happens to include bold, italic, script and Old English-looking alphabets, and our tools swap your ordinary letters for those. Because they are real characters, they keep their look when you paste them into apps that offer no formatting at all.
All of the conversion happens in your browser while you type. The text you enter is not sent to us and it is not stored, which is also why the tools work without an account.
What We Try to Do Well
Tell you the limits. These characters have quirks. Numbers often do not change style, accented letters stay plain, and some symbols show up as empty boxes on very old phones. Rather than hide that, each page says so, along with where the text works and where it does not, such as usernames.
Write pages that are worth reading. A tool alone does not tell you which style is easiest to read, how long a bio can be or what to check before a tattoo. So every page carries a guide written to answer the questions people actually have, in plain words.
Keep things quick. The pages are built to load fast on an ordinary phone, with the tool near the top and no pop-ups in the way.
One honest note
Fancy text is great for a bio, a caption or a short message. It is less suited to long paragraphs, important details like addresses and phone numbers, or anyone relying on a screen reader. Use it where it helps, and keep the essentials in plain text.
Something Not Working?
Phones and apps change often, and a style that looks perfect on one device can behave differently on another. If a style looks broken, a character is missing or a page could be clearer, we would like to hear about it. Tell us which device and app you were using, and what you saw, on the contact page.
